About Zornitza Stefanova
Zornitza Stefanova is the CEO and founder of Boomerang Digital, an app development and startup advisory firm. Boomerang Digital helps technology teams launch products faster, and provides services in three areas equally critical to the success of a project: design, product management and technology development. Zornitza runs the day-to-day operations of Boomerang Digital. Prior to Boomerang Digital, Zornitza led product management at Prosper.com and imeem.com (acquired by MySpace). Zornitza also served as Director of Professional Products at Six Apart (acquired by Say Media). In her role as product lead at these companies, Zornitza championed product strategy and lean development methods while building collaborative teams. Earlier in her career, Zornitza was CEO and co-founder of Ruby Networks, a mobile technology startup that built real-time, mobile monitoring applications for utilities. Zornitza also led business development at eGroups (now Yahoo Groups), and built a consulting practice helping large European telecommunications companies including KPN, 1&1 Online Services, Telenor and Teleport develop consumer online services. Zornitza graduated from Stanford with a degree in International Relations and from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Finance. She is proficient in several languages including German, Russian and Bulgarian.
