Job Description:

We are looking for a smart, forward thinking and creative Marketing & Social Media Intern to join us in the heart of Silicon Valley! The Marketing & Social Media Intern will be responsible for creating unique, engaging content and participating on website, blogs and other social media channels. You must have strong creative and professional writing skills and will work with the Marketing team to brainstorm and create social initiatives to grow the community. The successful candidate should be able to show a willingness to learn, research and use initiative. You must be an energetic and resourceful team player who can create, curate, and deliver digital content that’s driven by strategic objectives but is still interesting, fun and creative.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience with online marketing and social media outreach
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and strong understanding of tech industry
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects.
• Proficient understanding of Microsoft Word
• Must be familiar with the business applications of social media platforms, including; Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+ and more.
• Self-starter. Must ask questions and learn new skills quickly on the job.
• Driven, team player motivated to take responsibility and ensure successful outcomes across activities.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, journalism, English or related field.
• Graphic design and/or web design skills are highly desirable
• Knowledge of basic HTML
